A little while ago I had the pleasure of contributing some cello sounds to “Woodlight” by @hearhereproductions in Mi’kma’ki. It’s now featured on the @nac.cna Capsule series, alongside a selection of other beautiful miniatures. The film is an invitation to connect, care for, and protect the land we call home. Kudos to director Erin Donovan and everyone involved!

My mesmerizing libra sister @ara_ossy just released « Boundless Beings, » which we recorded a couple years ago in Montréal. T’was an honour to play on this track with such a wonderful crew musicians. In Sarah’s words, it’s an « ode to the zig-zagging journey of realizing one’s authentic path through the vivid lens of an insomniac dreamer. » Her florid poetry feels so resonant to me right now. It’s been a year since I was in Montréal, slippery time. To all of my friends and colleagues there, I am thinking of you fondly and missing your physical presence. Link in Sarah’s bio for the song. I’m back in the city after spending a couple weeks in the Blue Ridges with one of my most favourite humans in the world, here’s a pile of sunrises & sunsets. I made up a melody for a Khenpo Tsültrim song that had none on record and we recorded it, so if you would like to hear a song about everything being beautiful emptiness, the link is in my bio. I spent the past few days working with @paolokapunan aka turntable virtuoso DJ P-Love on some music by the badass composer/creator @nicolelizee . Still reeling from this trip to the mysterious ghost realm of time travel vinyl machines. ‘Twas a great honour.
